Handicraft Shop - My Friend Shan and I went travelling to Asia and we visited various villages where we met and socialised with underprivileged but talented women whom we noticed working and wearing beautiful embroided pieces.
Their daily life struggled forced us to help them with a hope that they can improve their standard of living in the long term and not depend on the aid. These women are keen on working hard to make a honest living.
We design the bags and buy the raw material from these lovely women who recycle their old garments, restore if needs to or produce hand embroided patches.
We started selling the bags at various local craft fairs and the bags were immediately noticed as they are lovingly handmade with beautiful accessories. Happy customers have given great feedback and we have managed to help loads of family back in South Asia.
Various products are made using Antique patches and other raw material such as the coins, leather belts, silver charms and various sort of beads are collected from various parts of South rural Asia and collated, designed and handmade in our local studio.
