The Concept:
A. Traditional Business Model: The Itshandicraft Business Model can be further sub-divided into two distinct Business Models
B.1. Itshandicraft Retail Model: In the Itshandicraft Retail Model, the retail buyer gets immensely benefited as there is no middleman between him and the seller (artisan). As a result of this, he is able to purchase an item directly from the artisan for a fair price.
For example, if an artisan (in India/ Turkey) creates an item and lists the handicraft on Itshandicraft for $10, the retail buyer (in UK/ FR/ DE) would be able to purchase it for $10 plus some nominal delivery charges that would be way below the price tag if he would have bought it from a local shop.
B.2. Itshandicraft Wholesale Model: In the Itshandicraft Wholesale Model, the Wholesale Buyer gets immensely benefited as he can load up on his inventory without paying exorbitant rates to the local distributor.
For example, if an artisan (in India/ Turkey) creates a handicraft and lists the item on Itshandicraft for a retail price of $10, he may set variable discounted wholesale rates of $8/ 100+ units, $7/200+ units and $6/ 500+ units. On the other hand, the Wholesale Buyer (in UK/ FR/ DE) would be able to purchase the lot at these prices, thereby making huge savings while purchasing.
Furthermore, Itshandicraft also offers a feature known as Made to Order through which if the seller (artisan) is short on stock of the item, he can still take an order and agree on a deferred delivery date of the whole order when it is finished.

Kazim Yildiz has been associated with the Oriental carpet and rug business for more than 35 years. Kazim got initiated in Rug trade by his elder brother while still in his teens when he was living in Istanbul. He started out as a carpet restorer and worked as an apprentice for his elder brother. During his formative years, Kazim came in contact with some of the finest restorers of Istanbul which left an indelible mark on him and helped chisel out the artistic best in him. Then he decided to come and settle in London and continue his passion for handcrafted rugs, kilims and carpets. His knowhow, expertise and dedicated staff have taken his business to remarkable heights. Trust, quality, variety and efficiency are the watchwords of his famous Richmond; London based retail and wholesale business (Rug Store). And now, Kazim Yildiz wants to replicate his unprecedented success in this new venture too.
